6.0/10

My stay at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort had its ups and downs. The beautiful views and spacious rooms were highlights, but I encountered several maintenance issues that affected my overall experience. Additionally, the WiFi was frustratingly unreliable during my conference, making it hard to stay connected.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and spacious, but had some maintenance issues like a broken phone and inconsistent temperature control in the refrigerator. Despite the comfort of the king bed, I also had to deal with a lack of housekeeping unless I requested it in advance. which was inconvenient.
Service
5.0
While I did appreciate the friendly staff at the front desk, especially Zack and Victoria, there were moments when the service fell short. My request for a late checkout was handled poorly, with misinformation adding to my frustration. Additionally, responses to my requests for towels were slow.
Location
8.0
The resort's location is fantastic, with stunning views of the mountains and easy access to walking trails. I loved being able to explore the natural surroundings and enjoy the picturesque atmosphere from various dining spots. However, the hotel's hilly layout can be challenging and might require a shuttle ride.
Dining
5.0
Dining experiences were a mixed bag. I found the prices at the onsite restaurants to be high for below-average food quality. The breakfast buffet was decent, but overall, I expected better for the cost.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities, including the pools and spa areas, had their charm. but maintenance was an issue; I noticed litter at the pools that was not cleaned up promptly. The hot tubs were also underwhelming, feeling more like warm baths.

However, I did encounter a few maintenance issues, and some areas seemed a bit outdated. The staff was friendly, but I found the cleanliness of the pool area lacking at times. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway with beautiful landscapes, despite some shortcomings.

My recent stay at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort was a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel itself has some charming features, such as beautiful views and friendly staff, but I was disappointed with the room's condition and the parking situation. Overall, I felt the value didn't quite match the price I paid, and I left with some lingering dissatisfaction.

Rooms

The room was somewhat outdated and smaller than expected, with a strange layout. While it had a nice view, the furnishings were aging and could use a refresh.

The staff was friendly and respectful, but I didn’t feel honored as a Hilton Honors member. I had to ask for basic amenities that usually come standard.
Location
8.0
The resort’s location offered beautiful views and easy access to nearby activities, but navigating with an oversized vehicle was a challenge.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited during my stay, and the poolside restaurant had decent food but not enough variety. Also, the prices felt a bit steep for what was offered.

While the pool areas were generally clean and well-maintained, the overall facility felt worn down. The parking was tricky, especially in tight spots.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort. The beautiful scenery and abundant pool options added to the appealing atmosphere, but I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room and the overall service at check-in. While the location offered stunning views and proximity to various activities, the dated rooms and inconsistent dining service detracted from my experience.

Rooms

My room was spacious but showed signs of wear, and the bedding didn't provide the comfort I expected. There were also cleanliness issues that needed to be addressed upon my arrival, which was frustrating.

The resort's location offered stunning views and was conveniently close to shopping and dining. However, navigating the hotel was challenging due to its hilly layout, despite the availability of a shuttle service.

The main restaurant, A Point in Tyme, had decent food quality, but I was disappointed that I couldn't secure a reservation at A Different Pointe of View. It was closed during my stay, which limited my dining options.
Facilities

The pool areas were well-maintained and provided a nice atmosphere for relaxation. However, I found the hot tubs to be less than inviting, as they were lukewarm during my stay.

My stay at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort was enjoyable overall. The resort offered beautiful views and spacious accommodations for my friends and me. However, I was quite disappointed that the pool bar was not open as promised, which limited our dining options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a welcoming experience.

The staff were attentive and friendly, especially the bell desk personnel. They helped with our inquiries and provided excellent service.
Location

While the views were stunning, the hotel's hilly terrain made it somewhat difficult to navigate. Access to nearby activities wasn't the best, as a car was necessary for outings.
